3-23-2012 Today this site is one month old..happy birthday I guess.
I am pretty happy with how the site has come together in this month. We are doing pretty good in the google rankings and we have enough content now that I think it is a real site. I am pretty damn proud of it…although we dont yet have the audience I want.
I still have no idea why I am doing all this and have no long term visions for the site except to have an audience that is as enthusiastic as we are regarding electric bikes.
We now have 3 of us writing and contributing stories…if anyone out there wants to help please let me know.
Its kind of lonely at times doing this site and dont know if we are really going to eventually be heard or not. We really have sincere intentions…
I have spent a lot more time writing than riding in the last month. Last night I took my folder electric bike on a spin and realized the battery was half dead from just sitting for the last few months.
I myself have never sat in front of a computer screen this much and my body is starting to go. I found myself doing yoga exercises off of some you tube video I found online.
For the first time in my life I am becoming an internet/computer junky in the name of building this site.
The bottom line is I need to get out and ride more. I have been living in LA for the last 6 months and am planning to go back to the bay area and do an electric bike ride atleast every other day. This time I am taking a camera and a go pro and documenting all the magnificent rides we do in the bay area that I somehow took for granted. San Francisco has got to be one of the best cities on earth to ride an electric bike. For one the city is very bike friendly…so there are plenty of bicycle lanes, bike parking, etc….Also it is a damn beautiful city.
I wish I would have taken a camera on every ride I went on last year in san francisco….but then I never thought I would be building an electric bike web site.
Anyway I hope someone out there is enjoying this site..if you have a chance please comment on stories that you read. It helps me and my partners to know that someone is actually reading this stuff.
So last night I put the about us page up….i looked at the site last night and realized we are finally at a good starting point. So now the site is not as anonymous as it was.
Anyway…back to work…got a ton of stories still in need of writing.
